What can I do about a green cast?Updated a month ago

A green hue immediately after rinsing out the hair dye is completely normal, and if you have followed the instructions, it will disappear on its own within 48 hours. Please do not shampoo your hair, as this will lock the current color.

Even if you can't imagine it right now, a green shade means that your hair has accepted the color well, and that's a good sign. 😊

It is important that the color is kept warm (in a water bath) during application and is not mixed cooler than recommended, as this can also be a reason for a greenish result. To tone down the reflection a little, you can rinse your hair briefly: Mix a dash (6 tablespoons) of apple cider vinegar with 300 ml of warm water, leave it in your hair for 5 minutes, and then rinse it out with water only. Afterwards, you can blow-dry your hair on a warm setting, which will also make the color a little warmer and develop more quickly.

For particularly dark and cool shades such as Dark Blonde, Ash Brown, Dark Brown, Black, and Blue Black, be sure to pre-color your hair with ColorPrep.

If it has been more than 48 hours since you colored your hair, feel free to consult as at [email protected] and send us a photo.
