Which important role does the watertemperature play in mixing hair dye?Updated 4 months ago

The water temperature affects your results: the hotter the water, the more reddish tones the shades will produce. That’s why we recommend a mixing temperature of 176°F for red shades.

For blonde and brown shades, we suggest 140°F, as these colors develop more evenly at this temperature.

Because the mixing temperature is so important, we recommend using a thermometer if your kettle doesn’t have a temperature setting.

If you’re unsure, check the packaging or the instructions for use, you’ll find the recommended mixing temperatures there as well. 😊
